We are joined by Rick Griffin, BS, MS, ATC-L, the Seattle Mariners’ former Senior Director of Athletic Training and currently the Mariners’ Athletic Trainer Emeritus to discuss pre-game and post-game protocols for BioWave high frequency peripheral nerve stimulation, for pitchers, catchers and position players. He also discusses the use of BioWave to facilitate active and passive range of motion while managing pain simultaneously and cover three specific case study examples.

Rick Griffin spent 35 years as Seattle Mariners Head Athletic Trainer, including last four years as Senior Director of Athletic Training. Rick has been an athletic trainer for the American League All-Star Team four times. He is a sought-after lecturer on baseball sports medicine topics. He lectured over 25 times in Australia, Ireland, UK and Japan. Rick also wrote several peer reviewed articles on Rodeo Sports Medicine.

Rick is currently serving on committees with the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society and the National Athletic Trainers Association, one of which is the Chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee.
