John Kasik

John Kasik, Senior Associate AD/Sports Medicine at the University of South Carolina, explains USCā€™s protocol for using modalities to reduce pain and facilitate range of motion and strength training in his athletes. Kasik also covers three different case studies, reviewing patient history, presentation of the injury, goals, treatment and rehabilitation protocols.

John Kasik was named Associate Director of Sports Medicine for the University of South Carolina on July 3, 2007. He served as Head Athletic Trainer during the 2006-07 school year at Stanford University. John was the first Head Athletic Trainer for the Carolina Panthers in the NFL from 1994 through 2002. He was also the Athletic Trainer and Set Medic for the NBC television series ā€œThe Biggest Loser 3ā€ in 2006. John began his healthcare career in 1979 as an assistant athletic trainer for the Baltimore Colts. John Kasik spent 11 years as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Seattle Seahawks from 1983 through 1994. During his 22 years in the NFL, John Kasik served as an Athletic Trainer for two Pro Bowl games.
