Dr. Odonkor

Dr. Odonkor is a Yale (medical school), Johns Hopkins (residency) and Harvard (fellowship) -trained physician with specialty training in Physiatry, Anesthesia Pain Medicine, Advanced Interventional Spine & Regenerative Medicine. At Yale, he is assistant professor in the department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, where he also serves as co-director of clinical research. He is principal investigator of the Yale School of Medicine Wearable & Digital Health Lab, serves on various pain & spine national and international organizations, past co-chair of the diversity council for the North American Neuromodulation Society, member of the Spine Intervention Society research committee, and serves on the editorial board of Interventional Pain Journal and is a peer reviewer for the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation. As a pain physician and interventional physiatrist, his clinical practice focuses on cutting edge treatments for spine and peripheral joint disorders using regenerative approaches, neuromodulation, and radiofrequency ablation treatments. He is committed to providing individualized comprehensive care to patients with an emphasis on functional restoration.

Dr. Charles Odonkor, MD, MA, Assistant Professor and Co-Director of Clinical Research at Yale University School of Medicine, lectures about using BioWave high frequency peripheral nerve stimulation for the treatment of chronic neck pain.
